Rock or Sand

“America was built on the principles of Christianity.”

Jesus said, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.  And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”[1]  Is it not child’s play to build a house on sand? America was built on the principles of Christianity.

In a 2008 speech, former President Obama mentioned, we are no longer just a Christian nation but other faiths as well.[2]  I think this statement has a vital admission to consider. First, he admittedly recognized our nation was founded on Judeo - Christian principles. Secondly, many elitist professors in the Ivory league rim are pontificating that our country was rooted in secularism, not Christian beliefs. Is Obama correct or the editors of history?  These liberal white radical professors, disagree with President Obama, doesn’t that make them racists in today’s environment? No, because they are extreme liberals, they look the other way.

On the other hand, if these professors were of the conservative nature and disagreed with him, they would be racists. Why the double standard? Our foundation of ideas and dialogue has become shifting sand through emotionalism.

Our house today, built on the U.S. Constitution, is resting on emotions rather than principles. The petite scoff of liberals shows their underlying intolerance and prejudice toward other ideas. For example, last year the First Lady decorated some parts of the Whitehouse with white Christmas trees. The liberal progressives called her a white supremacist. This year she adorned pieces of the Whitehouse with red Christmas trees. The libs now chant she’s symbolizing the innocent blood that they have shed. They go about chanting stupid slogans because it matches their character. These libs don’t understand common decency required for healthy political debate.

In a recent survey given by First Amendment Center[3], only one-tenth of a percent of Americans knew all five of their rights are in the First Amendment.  Here are our First Amendment rights: freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition for redress of grievances. No other constitution in history has included these fundamental rights of humanity. Our Constitution is the most important document of our founding, and only 28% of Americans have read this miracle document. President James Madison said, “The happy Union of these States is a wonder; their Constitution a miracle; their example the hope of Liberty throughout the world.”[4]

The first ten amendments or our Bill of Rights was ratified on December 15, 1791. It’s true that most Americans don’t know their rights nor the accurate history of our independence. Why is it essential for all Americans to re-educate themselves about our constitution? Our freedom is imperative to our security whether you are conservative or liberal.

The narrative of the radical left is pounded into the American conscience that evil began with the invasion of white Europeans. Back engineering history is as old as time itself. The historical redactors take use past to paint their present worldview. For example, a typical story of radical liberal educators today about pre-Columbus America was a continent free of mosquitoes, bugs and a life of total tranquility. The evil white Europeans brought sin into the new world never before experienced.

The truth is the Native American had every range of good and evil within their borders like the rest of global humanity. Some were noble and created confederations who made covenants to resolve differences. Like the Iroquois confederation of six nations. The Oneida nation that was part of that Confederation who fought with the colonies against King George of England. Their assistance profoundly secured favorable outcomes for George Washington’s troops against the British.

Other Native Americans were hostile and ruthless, killing and conquering other Indian Nations. Rape, murder, theft, and slavery were here long before any Europeans arrived. The real intent behind the false statement is to control the conversation of good and evil. The narcissistic liberal, like Elizabeth Warren, of European descent, to distance herself from her actual heritage, to make herself fit the new liberal model made the stupid claim she was Cherokee. The Washington Post wrote, "She took a bogus DNA test, and it showed that she may be 1/1024, far less than the average American. Now the Cherokee Nation denies her claim.” Oops, there goes those dam Europeans lying again, they just can’t help themselves. The truth is, any one of us could make a claim of any ethnic orientation with a DNA in the 1000th percentile.

Migration or invasion of other continents is as old as civilization. The modern slave routes were developed by the Muslims. Later, the Europeans took over those routes. Slavery still exists today in certain parts of the world.

Sin is not linked to an ethnic group but is connected to the heart of all races. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.[5]   There is a remedy to evil. "Therefore, repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.[6] The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news for our wickedness. Unfortunately, some love darkness rather than light. That part of the preamble of the Constitution which declares the “why” of our Bill of Rights – “that all men are created equal.” This quote was not intended for the separation of Great Britain, but for the use of our future freedom. Namely, not to allow anyone to leads us back to autocracy. This is the standard for a free society. Prosperity can breed an unthankful generation or exult it. Temptation is always courting men’s lower nature of avarice, to resist, is to promote the finer points of our nature. There cannot be “Freedom” without wholesome constraints. The teachings of Jesus and His beatitudes are principles that will exalt any nation. I pray that our nation will return to its Christian roots of true freedom.
