Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the [renewing of your mind], that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Patterns of Flawed Character and patterns of noble character.

 

Definitions:

Psychology: Processes of the Mind

Psychiatry: Healing of the Mind

Fasting: The notion of a runner who sticks close to what he is chasing.

PTSD: A disturbance of the mind

Psychiatry must be concerned with two basic psychological needs: the need to love and be loved and the need to feel that we are worthwhile to ourselves and to others.

Love has three components: Sacrifice, Giving, Accountable GOD IS LOVE!

Isaiah 58

13      “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,

          From doing your pleasure on My holy day,

          And call the Sabbath a delight,

          The holy day of the LORD honorable,

          And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,

          Nor finding your own pleasure,

          Nor speaking your own words,
