God wants to both give us a revelation of how great and mighty He is, and He wants to give us a revelation of His love for us personally as He carries us through all of the trials of life and meets every one of our needs.

- Gideon expressed his doubts – God encouraged him to see himself as the Lord saw him.
- We need to turn our problems over to God.
- Do not fear for God is with us.
- Fear can come into anything we are involved in and try to disrupt us.
- Fear was the first evidence of the fall – they hid because they were afraid.
- God wants us to run – not away from Him but to Him.
- God was hear before fear came and will be here when it is gone.
- God is greater than our fears – we need to serve Him wholeheartedly.
