The Widow of Nain

God wants to increase our capicity for Him so we can reach a world in darkness.

Summary

God has implanted His dream into our hearts and now He is empowering us supernaturally to fullfillt those dreams.  We are experiencing a time where, without signs and wonders, we will not be able to fulfill His mission in our lives.  God wants us to experience the joys of being fruitful, and wants us to move beyond having influence into making an impact.  Apostle Terry Thompson teaches us about what God is doing in this hour so we can participate with God and know Him more.

Outline

1. Most of the church does not have the spiritual capacity for what God wants to do in the earth, so God is coming to enlarge our spiritual capacity through worship.
   1. He is dislodging things from our lives so He can deposit Himself in us.
   2. If the demoniac could have approximately 6000 demons, how much more can the Lord fill His people.
   3. God is coming to the church in this hour and stirring His people.
   4. We are going to have many spiritual encounters.
   5. We need to expect God – unbelievable dreams and visions are being released as we live, walk and follow the laws of the Spirit.
   6. God releases delegated authority not divine authority.
   7. That is why we need to walk under the realm of authority.
   8. God is doing something in our midst.
2. The raising of the dead
   1. The widow’s son was raised.
   2. They believed God visited them.
   3. Nain was a military encampment which was a gentile outpost. It had the Augustine highway through it. It was on the Northern border next to Samaria. It was a military checkpoint.
   4. The processional was a major holiday in the Roman empire – Jesus came and wrecked the processional because of His compassion for a widow.
   5. Jesus stopped the processional which would have required instant death.
   6. The soldier woke up, spoke up and got up.
   7. That man became a servant in the palace of Caesar through many emperors.
   8. We have records for three generations of the faith of this risen soldier.
3. The hand of God has settled upon like the fire came upon the church at Pentecost.
   1. We need to enlarge our spiritual capacity – God is not finished with us.
   2. God is ready to touch us.
   3. A creative miracle enlarges your capacity.
   4. It is time to arise.
   5. For others, the season of trouble is over.
   6. What are you willing to risk to see your dreams resurrect?
