My Faith Is Not Blind

The fame atheist, Richard Dawkins claims that he has asked many Christians the evidence of their faith and his assertion is none have given him an answer. To him that is proof that God does not exist. Dawkins pontificates on other biological reasons for the non-existence of God as well.  He uses sarcasm as a means to belittle Christians for not giving any proof for their faith. It is sad that the majority of Christians cannot give some verification of their faith. How can they when an average Christian only spends five minutes a week studying the greatest book ever written. Dawkins jabbing is there is no Biblical morals since Christians cannot give proof of their faith.

The universe was and is a moral universe reflecting the Creator. The Creator has given humanity freewill; with some non-responbile limitations attached to it. Therefore morality or immorality is part of human history when freewill is obvious. The above statements reflect, though imperfect by humanity, of God who is moral and does not have favorites. The prophets of Israel knew this all to well as the major and minor prophets warned Israel time and again – if you turn to idols then their fate was predictable. God is loyal to His moral character not to any particular nation including one He plucked out – Israel.  John Lennox “against The Flow” location 283 Kindle, “Some of Judah’s leaders had fallen into thinking that, because their nation had been chosen to play a special role for God in history, it did not really matter how the leaders or the nation behaved. This was dangerously irresponsible and undermined the moral fiber of the people, because it led to the rationalization of corrupt and immoral behaviour that was incompatible with the law of God, albeit widely practiced in the surrounding nations.”

Human conduct by choice is intertwined into history showing evidence of moral laws set into motion of blessings or curses. We get to choose blessings or curses. Which one do you think an intelligent being should choose? History has been repeating itself for six thousand years presenting the back and forth of good and bad.  All evil is sin; the breaking of God’s laws? If this is true, then, what is the remedy for its cure? All religions are not equal for there is only one God that entered into humanities suffering to identify with His creation to provide a propitiation for us – Jesus. What standard or acts should be taught that would reduce suffering in the world. Daniel said it best, “Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.” I think this is a good foundation for civil society don’t you? Unfortunate, humanists have a psychotic personality of wanting to play god and which they think gives them the right to decide what is wrong or right. So they believe. They deny any existence of God to become a god themselves. How foolish. We deserve a better god than a scientists. Who or what is the guarantor of meaning? Do we trust our future on Particles of chance or God’s word?

The dream is simple: every person experiences love, welcome, and a personal encounter with Jesus. Discover how the early church’s model can inspire a thriving, relational community today.

Authentic Relational Church: Rebuilding Genuine Christian Community

The heart of Christianity is not an either/or between a private relationship with Jesus and a gathered church. The church exists as the visible, covenantal expression of Christ’s life in the world—meant to reflect heaven rather than hell. Yet, many have been hurt by institutions that resemble churches but operate like machines. This pain often leads to a common response: “I have a personal relationship with Jesus; I don’t need church.” Discover how authentic Christian community can heal these wounds and why rebuilding genuine relationships within the church is essential for transforming lives and the world around us.
