God want us to personally eperience resurrection power in our life.
Summary
Faith in the risen Savior creates true peace in a believer’s life. Even in the midst of difficulties we can experience a peace that passes all understanding. Because of resurrection power in our life, we can be delivered from all fear and experience the fullness of Life Jesus has for us.

- People have been searching for peace ever since the fall of man.
- Some people in their search for peace settle for false peace.
- Only the risen savior gives us true peace, even in the midst of difficulties in life.
- He wants to give us peace and for us to enjoy serving Him.

- John 14:27 – Jesus gives us His peace.

We can have peace when we are afraid.
- The disciples were assembled in fear of the Jews, but Jesus came and gave them peace – they were hiding instead of rejoicing.
- All of the books of the OT prophesied that Jesus would die and rise again.
- If you have Jesus in your heart you are alive because of Him.

The promise of Jesus resurrecting your life will be fulfilled in following Jesus.
- He loves us and wants to fulfill His purposes in our lives.
- He wants us to participate and enjoy His life.
- He wants us to be successful in our Christian walk.

Jesus appeared to His disciples when they were afraid – he will appear to you when you are afraid.

The doors being shut and locked could not keep Jesus from His people.
- He wants to give us peace.
- He wants us to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
- He wants us to look at each other and the world with His eyes.
- He wants us to encourage one another and build each other up.
- NO DOOR CAN SHUT OUT CHRIST’S PRESENCE.
- When Jesus comes He speaks to fearful hearts.
- He wants to empower us to walk with peace.
- God wants us to reach everybody so that none should perish.

Faith in the crucified and risen Christ takes away our fear.
- All things are possible in Jesus Christ for those who believe.
- If you seek him you will find true peace in Jesus.
- We need to keep pursuing Jesus until we have what He has freely given us.

- God wants to free us from doubt, He is alive and His power is for us today.
- Peace precedes world evangelism.
- Being on fire for Jesus is what draws people to the church.
- He wants people to come and say “what is going on?”
- We want the Lord to lead this church.

We can have peace when we feel alone.
- People often feel alone, like nobody cares or understands.
- Only Jesus meets the deepest needs of our hearts.
- Thomas missed the first meeting after the resurrection – got the nickname “doubting Thomas.”
- If your family was to give you a nickname, what would it be?
- God wants to give us a good name – He has been in the business of changing people’s name.
- CLOSED DOORS COULD NOT STOP JESUS FROM DISPELLING THE DOUBTS OF THOMAS.
- God wants us to walk in perfect peace.
- Faith is the opposite of fear.

Are you enslaved by fear? Trust Christ and have peace.
- If you are battling anything, receive prayer.
- He has called us all to serve somewhere – He wants to send us once we have peace.
- God does not want you to feel alone or overwhelmed – Jesus is the solution to such problems.
- Sometimes we find our victory when we get alone with Jesus.
