Obesity Is Cured

Politicians in Washington have the cure to obesity.

Obesity is as old as eating. In some nations obesity is a sign of wealth and beauty; in others, a sign of unattractiveness and discrimination. This is especially true in America; therefore, it is the main reason for the high increase in anorexia amongst our youth.

The Mayo Clinic estimates that U.S. businesses lose $150 billion annually from worker presenteeism[1]. Reduced job productivity from bad health greatly exceeded the costs of absenteeism and medical treatment combined. According to Mayo Clinic the estimated percentage of economic loss for a company due to presenteeism globally is forty-eight percent. Much of this is economic loss to companies is due to obesity. Profits sufferers due to presenteeism; which drives decisions to curtail this occurrence to offset poor productivity. This is one reason, why many companies, have adopted health programs and incentives and gyms on site. Health management is the fastest growing field in our economy.

Good news! The bureaucrats in Washington D.C. have found the cure for obesity to save us from our health dilemma. Liberal politicians’ have drafted legislation to outlaw weighing scales in America. It is these scales that are causing obesity. Liberal politicians have their willing media, universities’ and liberal artists in Hollywood on board as well. Over the next months all of the liberals have vowed to do a media blitz against weighing scales in America to stop chubbiness attacks on our health. No joke! Well, not exactly.

My apologies, for luring you in with such an invented story, but there is a point to it. However, real news coming from Washington’s liberal elitists to solve evils are just as fictitious and silly as this story, but millions of Americans are buying into these illusions. Have we Americans exchanged the slogan “America the brave…” for “America the gullible…?” I hope not.

While evil ascends the liberal elitists attack our constitution and law-abiding citizens. Hillary Clinton’s smart plan to deal with Muslim terrorists is to respect them and disrespect Americans’ constitutional rights. The liberal pitch is: It is these damnable guns that are causing terrorist attacks and the NRA is to blame. How have the feel good liberal policies on gun control of other nations made them safe?

France opened their borders to the Syrian refugees and embraced them all with glee of optimism; our liberal ideas will redeem them. Let’s see how that embracing of respect is panning out?

Ms. Pearce, a French radio reporter, was inside the Bataclan concert hall Friday and watched, horrified, as the attack commenced and the bodies piled up:

“I [saw] two terrorists … with AK-47s entering the concert hall and [start] firing randomly into the crowd. It lasted for 10 minutes. 10 horrific minutes where everyone was on the floor covering their heads. [I] heard so many gunshots. The terrorists were very calm … they reloaded their weapons three or four times. They didn’t shout anything. They didn’t say anything… They began shooting people [who were] on the floor … I [saw] 20 to 25 bodies lying on the flooring … [some] people were very badly injured with gunshot wounds …It was a bloodbath.”

All of this happened with gun laws so strict that the regular police are not armed. It was only after the special-ops police arrived armed did the Jihadist blow themselves up or were killed by the police. It is interesting that in 2012 the French politicians passed stricter gun laws to prevent this from happening. Their laws have created a context where only those with twisted minds have guns. Do you feel safe?

Now, France has closed their borders and they have their first curfew since WWII. The law-abiding citizens of France are the ones suffering from liberal policies that help and encourage the Muslim Jihadists. Sound familiar? Yet they still proclaim that “it’s these damnable guns causing all of this carnage of human life.”

Could Muslim Jihadists be the missionary arm of the Muslim faith? I say this only as a thought, due to the inactivity by the so-called peaceful Muslims not condemning these acts of deranged Muslims. If they are so peaceful, why haven’t they had massive demonstrations against these Muslim thugs? The same goes with the liberal media’s talking points – Don’t listen to the rhetoric, watch their actions as they publicly call a so-called Christians who killed many at an abortion clinic as Christian terrorists, but cannot bring themselves to say Muslim terrorist. The teleprompter reads and the puppet Polly parrots, “it is work place violence.”

No administration legislation is going to stop evil appendages; evil comes from the heart.   To combat evil, righteousness should be taught and elevated across our nation. Today, sadly, many churches preach we should find out what we have in common with each other faiths for redemption. You know, the ignorant bumper sticker with all of its faith symbols reads, “Co-exist”, but what does evil and light have in common? Did Jesus say, “Go into all the world and preach what we have in common…? When any nation ignores righteous laws and the God that has created them, how can there be any hope for peace? What we all have in common is this:

Romans 3:9

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
What is the solution to a sinful world?

Romans 10:9

…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.

Peace is through Jesus Christ and Him only.
