Spreading the Faith of Christ: A Call to Action

In a world filled with uncertainty, the message of Christ remains a beacon of hope. The mission to spread the faith is not just a task but a calling that requires courage, conviction, and a deep connection with God. The journey begins with understanding the power of belief and the transformative impact it can have on lives and communities.

The Power of Faith in Action

Faith is not just a belief; it is a powerful force that can transform the world. Throughout history, believers have demonstrated that faith in Jesus Christ can overcome the darkest of times. The early church thrived because believers dared to believe in the impossible. They understood that with Christ, all things are possible.

Many people today question the hope for the future. Yet, as believers, we know that Jesus died, rose again, and will come again. The Holy Spirit empowers the church, and with that power, we can bring transformation to the world. The challenge is to awaken the church to this reality and embrace the mission of spreading the faith.

Encountering Christ: A Personal Journey

Transformation begins with a personal encounter with Christ. The story of Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, is a testament to the power of such an encounter. Saul was not seeking God; in fact, he was determined to destroy the church. Yet, a praying and believing church paved the way for his conversion.

We must dare to believe that God can use us to bring about transformation. Just as Saul was transformed, others can experience a radical encounter with Jesus. It starts with the church believing in the power of Christ to save and heal.

Reaching the Lost

Reaching those who are lost and in darkness requires wisdom and love. A young person seeking to reach a friend who identifies as pansexual was advised to show the love of Christ through actions rather than confrontational arguments. People are often drawn to the church because they see something different—a community filled with love, joy, and purpose.

The church must be a place where people experience the grace and presence of God. It is through genuine relationships and community that people are drawn to Christ. The world is filled with ideologies that offer a false sense of belonging, but the church can offer true belonging through Jesus.

Living the Gospel

The gospel is not just words; it is a way of life. The church must embody the message of Christ in everything it does. This means living out the teachings of Jesus and allowing His love to shine through us. When people see the effects of God’s grace in our lives, they are drawn to the source of that grace—Jesus Christ.

Evangelism is not about delivering a formulaic message; it is about inviting people to experience the life-changing power of Christ. “Come and see” is an invitation to witness the love and transformation that happens when Jesus is at the center of a community.

Faith in Action

The story of the woman with the issue of blood demonstrates the power of faith in action. She believed that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. Her faith was not in vain; she experienced the healing power of Christ.

In the same way, we must touch Jesus by faith and believe in His power to transform lives. Faith is the key that unlocks the power of God in our lives and the lives of others. We must dare to believe that God’s promises are true and that He will fulfill them.

Reawakening the Apostolic Faith

The historic faith of the church was rooted in the belief that the gospel is good news. It was a message that transformed individuals and nations. The apostles believed in the power of the gospel to bring about change, and they lived out that belief with boldness and conviction.

Today, we must reawaken that apostolic faith and embrace the mission of spreading the faith of Christ. This requires a commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus and sharing His love with the world. It is a call to action that demands our full dedication and surrender to Christ.

The Role of Scripture

Scripture is the foundation of our faith and the guide for our lives. It is through God’s word that we are equipped for every good work. The Bible is not just a book to be read; it is a living document that transforms lives.

As we study God’s word, we come to know Him more deeply and understand His will for our lives. The truth of Scripture sets us free and empowers us to live out our faith with boldness and conviction. We must be committed to knowing and living out the truth of God’s word in every area of our lives.

Creating a Life-Giving Community

The church is called to be a life-giving community where people experience the love and presence of God. This requires intentionality and commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus. It is through community that people are drawn to Christ and experience the transformation that only He can bring.

We must create an environment where people feel welcomed, loved, and valued. This means building relationships and creating opportunities for people to connect and grow in their faith. The church must be a place where people see the beauty of holiness and the joy of living in the presence of God.

The Call to Revival

Revival is not just an event; it is a movement of God’s Spirit that transforms lives and communities. It begins with a hunger for more of God and a desire to see His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Revival requires prayer, repentance, and a commitment to living out the gospel.

As we seek God for revival, we must be willing to be the vessels through which He works. This means surrendering our lives to Him and allowing His Spirit to work in and through us. Revival is a call to action that requires our full participation and dedication.

Conclusion: The Challenge Before Us

The challenge before us is to spread the faith of Christ with boldness and conviction. This requires a deep connection with God and a commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus. The world is in desperate need of the hope and healing that only Christ can bring.

As we embrace this mission, we must be willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that is lost and hurting. We must dare to believe that God can use us to bring about transformation and revival. The journey begins with a personal encounter with Christ and a commitment to living out His love in every area of our lives.

Let us rise to the challenge and spread the faith of Christ to a world in need. Together, we can make a difference and bring the hope of Jesus to the nations.

Authentic Relational Church — The Jerusalem Model

Christianity can appear successful by worldly standards—big buildings and large attendance—yet still miss the transforming power Jesus intended. A mechanistic church produces mechanical results, while a church rooted in belonging and the gospel brings life, healing, and renewal. The dream is simple: every person experiences love, welcome, and a personal encounter with Jesus. Discover how the early church’s model can inspire a thriving, relational community today.
