God is Real: The Science and Life Prove It

Photo by John Price on Unsplash

In our journey through life, we often encounter discussions about faith, science, and the existence of God. It’s a topic that many grapple with, and today, I want to share some insights from my experiences and observations over the years. Let’s dive into the heart of the matter and explore how science and life experiences testify to the reality of God.

The Foundation of Faith

Many years ago, I had the privilege of attending Regent University where I met Dr. Howard Fultz, a remarkable man who has dedicated his life to missions. For over thirty years, he has been instrumental in establishing churches across Europe and mentoring countless individuals in their spiritual journeys. His humility and commitment to the cause of Christ have left an indelible mark on my life.

Dr. Fultz once shared a profound principle with me: the success of a church in a foreign country hinges on its ability to be taken over by the indigenous people. This is not merely about planting a church; it’s about empowering locals to lead and sustain their own communities. Our role is to provide support initially, but the ultimate goal is to see these individuals thrive independently.

Experiencing Miracles Through Missions

Throughout my ministry, I’ve had the honor of visiting orphanages and meeting children whose lives have been transformed through sponsorship and support. One child, whom I’ve supported since he was ten, is now pursuing a medical degree in Germany. His journey illustrates the profound impact of love, kindness, and charity. When we invest in others, we often find that we are the ones who are blessed.

Our faith is a gospel of miracles, but it requires action on our part. We must step out in faith, whether through financial support, prayer, or direct involvement. God calls us to be His hands and feet in a world that is often filled with suffering. When we respond to His call, we open the door for miracles to unfold.

Understanding God’s Nature Through Science

As we celebrate the miraculous nature of God, we must also recognize that science and faith are not adversaries. In fact, they complement each other beautifully. Science provides us with a framework to understand the world, while faith gives us the purpose behind it. Both are essential in our quest for truth.

Many skeptics argue that faith is blind, yet I believe that true faith is rooted in understanding. We must be willing to seek God with our minds as well as our hearts. The Bible encourages us to “come, let us reason together.” God invites us to engage thoughtfully with our beliefs, and it’s through this engagement that we can find deeper truths.

The Reality of God’s Existence

In a world where many question the existence of God, we must remind ourselves of the evidence that surrounds us. The complexity of the universe, the intricacies of human life, and the moral compass embedded in our hearts all point to a Creator. Just as the existence of a book implies an author, the existence of the universe demands a Creator.

Consider the arguments presented by both atheists and believers. Atheists often claim that everything came from nothing, an idea that challenges our understanding of cause and effect. In contrast, believers assert that the universe was created by an intelligent being. When faced with the wonders of nature and the human experience, the evidence for God’s existence becomes increasingly compelling.

Engaging with the Atheist Perspective

Many people may argue that if God is real, then who created God? This question reflects a misunderstanding of the nature of God. Unlike the universe, which had a beginning, God exists outside of time and space. He is the uncaused cause, the eternal being who created everything we see.

When we engage with skeptics, we must be prepared to discuss these concepts openly and honestly. It’s essential to recognize that many scientists and philosophers have grappled with these questions. Notably, renowned physicist John Lennox has pointed out that the existence of energy and consciousness cannot be adequately explained by naturalism alone.

The Importance of Miracles

As we reflect on the miracles in our lives, we must remember that they often arise from our willingness to act. When we lend to the poor or support missions, we become part of a larger narrative that God is writing in the world. Our faith should compel us to take action, and in doing so, we can witness the miraculous unfold before our eyes.

Every believer has a testimony of God’s miraculous work in their lives. Whether it’s a personal transformation, a healing, or a moment of divine intervention, these experiences serve as powerful reminders of God’s presence. We are called to share these stories, not only to encourage one another but also to testify to the world about the God we serve.

Conclusion: Embracing Faith and Action

In this season, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us remember the miracle that His arrival represents. God is a miracle-working God, and He invites us to be part of His plan. Through our actions, we can reduce suffering, spread love, and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Let us not be passive in our faith. Instead, let’s actively seek opportunities to serve, give, and love. As we do, we will see the evidence of God’s existence manifest in our lives and the lives of others. Together, we can be a testament to the reality of God in a world that desperately needs hope.

So, as we move forward, let’s commit to being the hands and feet of Jesus, believing in the miracles that await us and sharing the good news of His love with the world.

Authentic Relational Church — The Jerusalem Model

Christianity can appear successful by worldly standards—big buildings and large attendance—yet still miss the transforming power Jesus intended. When the church is organized by systems instead of organic, family-shaped relationships, it often fails to reflect heaven on earth. The heart of the problem is structural. A mechanistic church produces mechanical results, while a church rooted in belonging and the gospel brings life, healing, and renewal. The dream is simple: every person experiences love, welcome, and a personal encounter with Jesus. Discover how the early church’s model can inspire a thriving, relational community today.
