Director of Men’s Ministry
Evangelist Michael Torres was miraculously saved in June of 2002. Shortly after that time he accepted the call of ministry in 2004.He has been part of various ministries within the church and community. His scope of ministry has spanned into different areas. He has served as usher /greeter, Home group pastor, Worship team member and Healing team member. Founder of Torrid Ministries, Michael has preached in the local federal prison, several area churches, The Salvation Army and Mexico.
Most recently Michael became a Board Certified Crisis Responder with the Joint Commission Chaplain Accreditation and Education and was appointed Men’s Ministry Director of Life Springs Church. He has attended many conferences in order to become a better leader/husband/father within the Kingdom of God as well as the business world. He is an avid reader of the Bible and studied under Bishop Ronald Rhea’s “Tenets of Faith” series to develop an in-depth understanding of the Word. Michael’s passion is that all men would come to know the Lord in a very intimate and life changing way.
As David wrote in Psalm 51:12-13 (NKJV) Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. His calling is to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. He is married to Sheila Torres and has two beautiful daughters Giana and Halle.
