The Kingdom is Advancing
The Kingdom of God is on the move, and each of us is a carrier of that Kingdom. We hold a treasure within us, but there are obstacles that can prevent the Kingdom of Heaven from being fully manifested in our lives. Today, we’re diving deep into what these barriers are and how we can overcome them to see the Kingdom advance in our lives.
Understanding the Kingdom of God
So, what exactly is the Kingdom of God? It’s not just a concept; it encompasses righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is also demonstrated through the signs, wonders, and miracles that accompany God’s power. When we see these manifestations, we can be sure that the Finger of God is at work.
Wherever you find yourself, that’s your Kingdom place. Whether you’re at work, in school, or even among friends, God can provide supernatural insight and clarity. This is about seeing the Kingdom manifest in every area of your life.

What Sets Successful People Apart
There’s a simple truth that separates those who succeed from those who fail: resilience. When a successful person experiences failure, they don’t stay down; they get back up and keep moving forward. In contrast, those who struggle often dwell on their failures.
The scripture reminds us that even a righteous person may fall seven times, but they will rise again. This resilience is crucial for advancing the Kingdom of God in our lives. So, what failures have you experienced? It’s time to challenge yourself to rise again and allow the Kingdom to be fully realized within you.

Transforming Your Thoughts
One of the most significant barriers to experiencing the Kingdom of God is the way we think and speak. Our thoughts and words hold immense power. On average, we think between 1,250 and 1,500 words per minute, while we speak at about 125 to 150 words per minute. This disparity means that we often dwell on negative thoughts far more than we express them.
What are you allowing to occupy your mind? Are you stuck in a cycle of negative thinking? It’s imperative to discard those harmful thoughts. Remember, life and death are in the power of the tongue. The amygdala in our brains processes our thoughts and emotions, creating pathways that can either lead us to success or hinder our progress.

Identifying Blockers
As we strive to advance the Kingdom, we must also recognize blockers. Offenses and unforgiveness are significant barriers. In Matthew 24, Jesus warns that offenses will come. With the rise of social media, it’s easier than ever to become offended or to harbor unforgiveness. Ask yourself, do you have anyone you need to forgive?
Jesus made it clear that if we have issues with others, we must resolve them before approaching God. Holding onto offenses not only disrupts our relationship with others but also hinders our relationship with God. Unforgiveness is a kingdom blocker, and letting go of these burdens is essential for the Kingdom to manifest in our lives.

Experiencing Encounters with God
When was the last time you had a true encounter with God? I’m not talking about a fleeting moment but a transformative experience that shook you to your core. If it’s been a while, it’s time to pursue that encounter. God wants to be close to you, and He’s waiting for you to draw near to Him.
There are moments in our lives that become significant markers of our faith. For me, one such moment occurred while watching a cooking show. In the midst of that seemingly mundane activity, the Holy Spirit moved, and I was overwhelmed with emotion. Those moments are precious, and they remind us of the tangible presence of God in our lives.

The Importance of the Presence of God
The presence of God is transformative. It’s not something we can take lightly. We need to ask ourselves how desperate we are for His presence. When was the last time you set aside distractions to simply be with God? This isn’t a one-time event; it’s a daily pursuit.
We need fresh encounters with God to sustain us. The revelation we had twenty years ago won’t suffice today. We need to be hungry for more of Him, not just for what we can get from Him.

Embracing Inconvenient Truths
God operates in inconvenient truths. He doesn’t wait for us to have everything figured out before He speaks. When Moses was called to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, there were no preparations made; they had to move quickly. God often requires us to act even when we feel unprepared.
This is what faith looks like. It’s about trusting God even when the circumstances don’t align with our expectations. If we want to see the Kingdom manifest in our lives, we must be willing to embrace these inconvenient truths.
